Meet Your Hosts, MaryAnn and Ian
Mary Ann transitioned from a bustling marketing career in Toronto's entertainment industry to a more relaxed life in Prince Edward County. With over 30 years in the concert, festival, and theatre industry, her travels and experiences are reflected in the vibrant art and decorations throughout the house. As the welcoming face of Lilac Lane, she ensures guests are comfortable, offers delightful home-cooked breakfasts, and provides helpful tips for exploring the County.
Aside from her role, Mary Ann dedicates time to gardening, cooking with local produce, and recently, making jams and marmalades. She also volunteers at the local radio station and participates in several events that take place in Picton, demonstrating her commitment to the community and hosting guests.
Ian, the behind-the-scenes craftsman, enhances the property with his skills. Since 2021, he's crafted raised garden beds, improved the landscape, and worked on home projects. His studio is a hub for creating wooden pieces, and music, and playing his mandolin, adding a unique atmosphere to Lilac Lane.
Together, they contribute to the charm of Lilac Lane, a licensed Short-Term Accommodation Provider (STA – ST 2020-0419), and invite guests to discover the beauty of Prince Edward County's cozy home and hospitality.
