August was so much fun! Weddings, visitors from Belgium, a good old 80’s singalong at the Regent Theatre with Choir Choir Choir, a very interesting discussion with David Frum, Weekend adventures with friends, new friends, old friends, lunches, dinners, gardening adventures – finding a cantaloupe that I never planted – it came up through the compost! And then there’s the tomatoes…

I can’t believe it’s August already. We’ve hosted some wonderful guests this summer – they’ve been exploring the county, attending weddings, celebrating friendships – all with an appetite to explore and enjoy everything we have on offer. Whether it’s music, theatre, movies at the Regent and the Mustang Drive-In, delicious foods – from farm to table everywhere.

July has arrived! The strawberries were magnificent this year, and now we wait for cherries, tomatoes, corn, grapes, and all of the other delicacies from the farms and gardens of the County. And right here at Lilac Lane, the lavender is in full bloom and is just gorgeous.

It’s Pride month, and we have some new restaurants to try, music to hear, art to appreciate, and some comedy nights to enjoy. It’s all happening just minutes away from Lilac Lane Bed & Breakfast - come for a visit, we’d love to meet you.

Spring has arrived at Lilac Lane; the days are longer, the sun’s warmth is returning, and the bunnies are munching on the grass. The Blue Jays, Robins, and so many other birds have returned, and a wonderful energy grows daily. (insert Photo of Blue Jays)
